Summer campers who have completed grades 4-8 will be able to learn about a variety of topics through hands-on activities that incorporate history, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as team-building skills.

The staff of the Air Force Museum Foundation uses video in a variety of venues to convey the Foundation's mission, acknowledge and thank contributors, and demonstrate the impact of philanthropic support on Museum programs and activities. 

STEM-ulate Your Mind: Project SOAR Teacher Workshop 

Summer workshop for teachers to incorporate aerospace into their science curriculum. Workshop attendees are provided lesson plans, DVDs, software, demonstration items and more.

Family Days

Programs designed for children and adults of all ages. These programs occur one Saturday a month, and themes include: kites, space, physics of sports, aerospace technology, orbiting the globe, robots, and more.

Home School Days

ffered twice annually, once in the spring and once in the fall. These are special days filled with a variety of educational experiences for all grade levels from preschool through high school. Sample program topics include: magnetism and electricity, chemistry, buoyancy and density principles, and physics behind rocketry. 

Air Force Heritage and History Writing Competition 2018 

Teenagers will have a unique opportunity to earn scholarship funds while learning about military aviation history through the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force's sixth annual Air Force Heritage and History Writing Competition.

Student Aviation Art Competition and Exhibition 2018

The Student Aviation Art Competition and Exhibition will celebrate its 34th year in the spring of 2018. The competition is open to student artists from both private and public schools in Clark, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Warren counties. School districts may conduct their own district-wide competitions or select schools to represent the district. All private school entries are combined and judged as a "district." Unsolicited individual entries are not permitted. Artwork is on exhibition for one month and culminates in an awards ceremony.

 WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous 2018

This two-day flying event of authentic and replica Wold War I aircraft is offered every other year by the Museum and the Great War Aeroplances Association. This event includes WWI living history re-enactors in a war encampment area, radio-controlled model aircraft, period vehicles, music and a collector's show of WWI era items.
