Host your next Event or meeting

at the National Museum of the Air force.

The events must go on!

While the museum is excited to reopen and for events to resume, our top priority is the health and safety of our visitors and our entire museum family. Therefore, we’ve carefully developed reopening guidelines following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the State of Ohio, local health experts and peer institutions across the country.

In order to meet the highest possible public health standards, cleaning and disinfecting procedures have been enhanced throughout the museum, including increased disinfecting of high-traffic areas and surfaces. Hand sanitizer stations are now available in each gallery.

Room capacities have changed to reflect appropriate social distancing requirements. Food and beverage policies have also changed to follow proper guidelines.

During the initial reopening phase, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force asks visitors to comply with the following guidelines:

Masks: We require the use of face coverings for all staff, volunteers and visitors (3 years and older). Visitors may wear their own masks or a free paper mask will be provided by the Air Force Museum Foundation. Cloth masks will also be available for purchase in the Museum Store.

Social Distancing: Please maintain a minimum distance of six feet from those outside your party while on the museum campus.

Sanitation: Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the museum. Cleaning and disinfecting will be enhanced throughout the museum.

Health: If you are not feeling well, have a fever, body aches or a cough, please visit another day. You can enjoy our online virtual tour at https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Virtual-Tour/

Please note that the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19.
