Air Force Museum Foundation supports Toys for Tots

Collecting toys for Marine Corps holiday drive

Dayton, Ohio– November 22, 2022 — The Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc., (Foundation) is supporting the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program for the first time in 2022.

The Foundation has collection boxes in the main Museum Store at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force (Museum), as well as at the Launchpad Shop ‘n Snack in the third building and in the Atrium near the Museum exit. Visitors are encouraged to bring their new, unwrapped gifts in for collection or purchase a gift from the Museum Store.

“The Air Force Museum Foundation is happy to be a supporter of the Toys for Tots program this holiday season,” said Foundation CEO Rorie Cartier. “This is a great opportunity for the Foundation and Museum visitors to help ensure that those less fortunate receive not just a present for the holidays but also a message of hope and support.”

To promote support of the program, the Museum Store is offering a 10% discount on visitors’ entire purchase if it includes at least $10 in items for donation to Toys for Tots. The Museum Store stocks many items that would make great Toys for Tots donations such as books, puzzles, games, connecting block kits, science kits, plush animals, and pull-back toys.

Museum Store purchases made over the phone are also eligible for the 10% discount if they include at least $10 in items for donation to Toys for Tots. The Museum Store website (https://store.airforcemuseum.com) lists items that are available. The public can call 937-256-6245 (937-256-MAIL) to speak with a store operations assistant who can assist with the purchase and donation. Toys for Tots donations and discount cannot be processed on website orders.

The Foundation will be collecting items for Toys for Tots until Wednesday, December 7. The Museum Store is open from 9-5 every day through December 7, except Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24. Admission to the Museum is free.
