Visitor Information

The National Museum of the United States Air Force, located near Dayton, Ohio, is the world's largest and oldest military aviation museum featuring more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display amid more than 17 acres of indoor exhibit space. Each year more than one million visitors come to the museum to learn about the mission, history and evolving capabilities of America's Air Force.

All exhibits and displays are well identified to permit touring without guides. Tours offered on a limited basis. The Museum does offer planning assistance for Motorcoach operators, Educational Tours and Reunion Groups. The Museum offers a variety of special events. The Museum is handicapped accessible. Baby Strollers and wheelchairs are available on a limited basis for use inside the Museum building. No pets please. Guide and service dogs only.

The Valkyrie Café  is located on the second floor of the Museum. Besides the regular menu, box lunches are available for special/school tours. Picnic tables are available in the summer months. Sack lunches cannot be accommodated in the Museum building.
